Meet WhatItDoTQ: Your Trusted Travel Bestie

Hey, ya'll. I’m thrilled to have you here, and I can't wait to share my travel experiences and tips with you. As your trusted travel bestie, I'm not just here to share but to guide you through the exciting world of travel, making it enjoyable, convenient, and unforgettable.

Who Am I?

I'm TQ, the creator behind WhatItDoTQ. I'm from Jacksonville, FL (DUUUUUUVAL), but my roots are in Mobile, AL. I caught the travel bug back in 2017, after taking a roadtrip from San Francisco, California to Seattle, Washington. Making stops in places like Lake Tahoe, and Emerald Bay left an impression on my mind that I just couldn't shake. I was hooked on the feeling of seeing new places and trying new things, and I knew I had to find a way to get more of that in my life.

One of the best parts of traveling is meeting diverse people and immersing myself in different cultures. So far, I've been to 28 states, many different cities, and Toronto, Canada. While, I have made some considerable strides in the places I have been I know my travel journey is just beginning.

As someone who works remotely and travels frequently, I understand the unique challenges of balancing work, family, and a love for travel.

Yet, I am so excited about the opportunity to continue seeing the world one destination at a time. I think my biggest motivation for traveling is I've always wanted freedom, living with no limits, believing in the impossible, and treating life as the adventure it is.

I am incredibly grateful to have traveled to some of the most popular and well-known American cities, discovering hidden gems and learning invaluable travel hacks. I plan to see all of the 50 states in America and then continue my travels outside these borders.

Why Do I Travel?

Traveling is more than just visiting new destinations; it's about experiencing life from different perspectives. It allows me to break out of my comfort zone, learn new things about myself, and be more grateful for the little things in life, the good and the not-so-favorable.

Each trip adds a new experience to my collective memories, helping me tell my unique story and shaping who I am. I think you can experience some of the same things too.
